By accessing this website (watchpoint.site) and using our WhatsApp booking, enquiry, or CCTV installation services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
1. Nature of Business & Service Definition
WatchPoint is a Registered Professional CCTV Installation and Security Solutions Service Provider operating in Chandigarh and the Tricity region of India (including Mohali, Panchkula, Derabassi, Kharar, and Zirakpur).
We provide professional installation, configuration, and technical support for surveillance camera systems, including:
- IP (Internet Protocol) and PoE (Power over Ethernet) camera systems
- NVR (Network Video Recorder) systems
- DVR (Digital Video Recorder) systems
- Dome, bullet, and turret camera installations
- Smart home integration and mobile app setup
- System upgrades and retrofits
- Free on-site security surveys and consultations
WatchPoint is exclusively focused on professional CCTV installation and security solutions. We specialize in modern IP camera systems, NVR/DVR setups, smart home integration, and comprehensive technical support for residential and commercial properties across Chandigarh and Tricity.
2. Service Enquiry Process via WhatsApp
Our primary customer communication channel is WhatsApp (+91 96787 73423). When you contact us via WhatsApp to enquire about CCTV installation services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about your property, including correct address and description of security requirements.
- Provide a valid contact number for scheduling site surveys and installation appointments.
- Respond to our consultant's questions about your security needs and property layout.
- Confirm your availability for the free on-site survey before we schedule a technician visit.
3. Free Site Survey & Quotation Process
After your WhatsApp enquiry, we schedule a free, no-obligation on-site security survey at your property. During this survey, our technician will:
- Assess your property's layout and security requirements.
- Identify optimal camera positions for complete coverage.
- Plan concealed wiring routes.
- Provide a detailed, itemized quotation with no hidden charges.
All quotations are valid for 7 days from the date of issue. If you wish to proceed, you must confirm your booking within this period. The final quotation becomes binding only after your written confirmation (via WhatsApp or email).
4. Pricing & Payment Terms
All quotations provided by WatchPoint are fully itemized with no hidden charges. The quotation will clearly specify:
- Cost of equipment (cameras, NVR/DVR, cabling, mounting hardware, etc.)
- Labour and installation charges
- Mobile app setup and configuration fees (if applicable)
- Any additional services or upgrades
- Total amount due and payment terms
We accept payments via:
- UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, or other UPI apps)
- Bank Transfer (NEFT or IMPS)
- Cash on completion for local installations
Payment terms will be clearly specified in your quotation. Typically, a 50% advance is required to confirm the booking, with the remaining balance due upon completion of installation.
5. Installation & Workmanship Warranty
All CCTV installations performed by WatchPoint are covered by a 1-year workmanship warranty from the date of installation. This warranty covers:
- Wiring issues or cable failures related to our installation
- Camera mounting failures or hardware issues
- NVR/DVR configuration errors or software setup problems
- Mobile app setup and connectivity issues
The workmanship warranty does NOT cover:
- Physical damage to cameras or equipment caused by accidents, vandalism, or misuse
- Power surges, electrical damage, or acts of nature (lightning, flooding, etc.)
- Equipment failure due to manufacturer defects (covered by manufacturer warranty instead)
- Damage caused by unauthorized modifications or third-party interference
Equipment Warranty: All cameras, NVR, DVR, and other equipment come with full manufacturer warranty ranging from 1 to 3 years. Manufacturer warranty claims are handled directly with the equipment manufacturer.
6. Installation Timeline & Scheduling
After booking confirmation and advance payment, we will schedule your installation within 5-7 working days (subject to availability and weather conditions). You will receive confirmation of the installation date and time via WhatsApp. Please ensure someone is available at the property on the scheduled date to provide access to the installation team.
7. Post-Installation Support
After installation is complete, we provide:
- Comprehensive training on system operation and mobile app usage
- Configuration of motion detection zones and alert settings
- Free technical support via WhatsApp for the lifetime of your system
- Troubleshooting and maintenance guidance
8. Customer Responsibilities
As a customer, you agree to:
- Provide safe and unobstructed access to your property during site surveys and installation.
- Disclose any existing electrical issues or structural limitations that may affect installation.
- Maintain the installed system according to our guidelines.
- Notify us immediately of any system malfunctions or issues.
- Comply with all applicable laws regarding surveillance and privacy in your area.
9. Limitation of Liability
WatchPoint provides CCTV installation services on an "as-is" basis. We are not responsible for:
- Loss of video footage due to system malfunction or power failure
- Unauthorized access to your system due to weak passwords or security negligence
- Damage to your property during installation (except due to our negligence)
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services
10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Chandigarh, India.
